- In a sauté pan over medium-low heat, add Olitalia Extra Virgin Olive Oil and finely chopped onions. Cook for about 8 minutes.
- Place a 28 oz can of Ciao Italian Whole Peeled Tomatoes in a large bowl and crush the tomatoes by hand. Then add the crushed tomatoes, vinegar, both sugars, salt, smoked paprika, red pepper flakes, cumin, and ginger.
- Cook for 25–30 minutes, until thickened.
- Allow to cool completely, then store in a mason jar in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
- Enjoy on toast, a charcuterie board, grilled cheese, focaccia, and more!
